Pray & Prepare

God has already equipped us with the tools necessary to go out and do what He has called us to do.  He has already blessed us with the gifts He has instilled in us.  It’s our turn to use those gifts as ambassadors for Christ to speak to others about Christ in the way God has us to, whether that be through speech, action, or through others.  We need to allow Him to use us as a living vessel and bless someone else.

You may say, “Well what about me?” Why do I need to help someone else out if I’m waiting on God myself?” God will show up for you when you are obedient to Him.  If He’s given you an assignment to bless someone else through a message, a hug, a friendly gesture, a monetary gesture, go ahead and do it.  God sees all and hears all.  You will be rewarded for your great actions.  For your obedience.  Because of your obedience He will bless you immeasurably. Hebrews 6:7

Sewing a seed of hope, of our desires, of our prayers in the ground and waiting for it to grow, takes patience but while we’re waiting, there are other things we can do to prepare for the harvest that will take place.

It will take prayer, sacrifice, consistency, determination, faith, reading God’s Word, selflessness, and more to see our purpose through.

There WILL BE  rough roads ahead but as long as we stay connected to God through it all, He will keep us.  He will help us move forward.  He will show us that there is a light at the end of the tunnel filled with the answers and encouragement along the way.

Just remember, He will never put us in a position that He knows we can’t handle.  He won’t place us in a situation without an exit.  We have to trust Him.

In Hebrews 6:13-20, it says His promise never returns void.  He makes sure of that by making a promise on Himself, something He CANNOT break.  His Word is His life.  “There are two things He CANNOT break and they are: His promise and His purpose.” Hebrews 6:17-18

When He says He’s going to do something, He’s going to do it.  God never backs down.  We have His Word....literally.

Just because God provides us with a promise today doesn’t always mean we’ll receive it tomorrow.  Be patient.  He’s preparing us to receive the promise He has for us.  That means we can’t give up.  We can’t let go.  Hold onto His promise.  Hold it close to our hearts.

His promise may not happen when we want it but it’s always on time.

During our season of waiting, be patient.  Learn to trust Him better.  Learn to obey Him better.  Learn to read His Word more.  Learn to pray more.  Learn to have faith more.  Learn to listen more.  Learn to believe more.

Hold onto His Word as it never changes and He never changes.  He is the same YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVERMORE.

Hold on because we have something to look forward to.
