Beginning your relationship with God is definitely challenging because you never know what you want to say, how to say it, and why you’re saying it. Spending time in God’s presence, opens your mind to Him. He lets you know that you don’t have to come to Him as though you have it all figured out, He just wants you.
Stop living in the moment for God and start living every day for Him. His presence isn’t just available once a week. We should allow Him in to help us through everything and we do that by accepting Him, His love and building a relationship with Him.
Whenever I attended church when I was younger even to just last year, I wondered if the people who broke out in speaking tongues were faking or were they really filled with the Holy Spirit?
Who is your first? Noo not like that. Who is your first point of contact?
Our first inclination is to call someone we know. Someone we know usually answers the phone. Someone who is reliable.
We have to learn to make God the FIRST person we call on. We have to make God our FIRST priority. Y'all, we should wake up, speak, think, eat, breathe, walk, talk, act, like our Heavenly Father. Any and every situation we’re in a lot of times, is our own doing. We thought we were able to take care of it but it quickly fell apart. There was no foundation. No support.
