Unsettled = Impatience

Don’t settle for things you think would be better than what you have.

Unsettledness is a form of impatience.

We want something that will help us get to our destination quicker but we miss out on the learning opportunities, the quality time spent on becoming who we’re supposed to be because we’re so fixated on arriving.

When we settle, we’re taking whatever we can get. First come, first served. We say we want the best quality but we keep choosing the mediocre quantity and quality.

We will have more mistakes trying to get to our destination quicker than if we take our time. Listen, God is in control. He knows what He’s doing. He will get us where we need to go in due time.

Pray and listen to Him. He’s trying to tell us something but are we taking the time to actually listen? We’ll keep hitting that same wall over and over until we learn to slow down and follow Him.

Proverbs 1:7 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.”

Proverbs 28:26 “Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered.”
