White Bedding: Is it a Bad Idea?

I’ve always wanted to have my bedding to be white because white is such a clean, crisp, and modern look with a modern farmhouse vibe. Also, white goes with everything...mostly. So when I had the opportunity to change my bedding, I was so excited to finally give it a complete white makeover.

Now, I know I’ve told y’all in the past to not have everything one color, especially white because it’ll look sterile, well we can make an exception for bedding, right?

Here’s where everything is from. Just click on the name to shop.

Y’all, I’m truly in love with my bedding. It truly keeps me warm but still provides the coolness I need throughout the night.

But even though there are so many pros to having white bedding, there are a few cons that come with it as well.

There’s a cute little puppy that lives here that liked to mess it up a few times and I needed to wash it more often than I liked to but what I will say is that it helped me to know and understand how to take care of white...anything. Also, he’s no longer allowed to sleep in my bed if you were wondering. He’s in his own bed, where he should be because he’s never really slept in it since he’s had it and that’s been a few years. Yep, that’s why he’s so spoiled.

But back to the bedding, the only con I honestly have about white bedding, is being able to see everything. Stains that aren’t supposed to be there stick out like a sore thumb and because I like to always keep my white, well...white, I’ll immediately apply this amazing product called, “OxiClean Max Force Gel Stain Remover Stick.” I literally use this not only on my bedding but on everything. Any stain you have, all you have to do is apply this product and it’ll come out right away...after applying water and technically washing it of course.

If you’re thinking about adding white to your bedding or your wardrobe, go ahead and do so. You won’t regret it. It may take a little more TLC but it’s nothing you can’t handle and if it’s something you really want but want to start out small, start with a pillowcase. It’s truly the best bedding decision I’ve made and I tend to keep white as my bedding for as long as I possibly can.

I hope this helps in your decision to try white bedding. When/if you decide to try it, comment below and let me know how you like it. I’d love to hear from you!
