How to Clean Your Home More Effeciently

We’re all used to Spring cleaning for a deep clean and an opportunity to give or throw away items we don’t use anymore. But why wait to do a deep cleaning before it gets hot? A lot of you may say that you have more time to clean during those times and while that’s understandable, that’s just what you’re accustomed to. Think about it, every year when Spring rolls around, we not only think about flowers blooming and warm weather but we think about Spring cleaning.

If you’re working, you have to go to work during the Spring time as well so it’s not like you have a better opportunity to clean. It’s all about what you do with the time you have.

So, a couple of months ago, I asked this question on my Insta Stories and I’m going to ask you, Do you like to clean your house all at one time or different rooms at different times? Whatever is your answer, that’s your business, however if I may add, if you’re looking for an opportunity to keep up with cleaning and creating a schedule for it, this is the time to cut it into sections.

Designate each room its own day. It's kind of like going back to the day you were doing chores. Each day something had to be done.

Feel free to follow what I did or if you have more rooms than I do, switch it up a bit. Allow the chore of cleaning your house make sense in how you tackle it.

I decided to tackle the rooms that are always getting dusty and dirty first, which is the kitchen and the bathroom. Why? Because these are two rooms I use the most. I decided to assign:

Monday - Kitchen

Tuesday - Bathroom

Wednesday - Living room

Thursday - Bedroom

Friday - Closet

Saturday - The balcony

That way I have also given myself a day off.

If you want to do two rooms a day, you can. This is also something you don’t have to do alone. You can always have someone help you especially if you want to do extra work.

Yes, it’s something else to add to your schedule but it gives you responsibility and the opportunity to once again, stay on top of things.

The Benefits:

Creating/adding to your schedule

Go ahead and knock it out and don’t worry about it later.

Don’t have to worry about cleaning the entire house at once.

You won’t get tired but will feel accomplished.

Tackling another “chore” one day at a time.

You’re not stressed or overwhelmed.

Make cleaning fun.

Having a clean house...daily.

Try this method out and see if it works for you. I know that when I tried to clean my entire house, I was exhausted and I didn’t have any energy at the end. So I decided to clean each room per day and I felt accomplished and honestly, couldn’t wait for the next day to clean the next room.

It’s all about how you make it. Listen, you have to clean your house anyway, so why not make it enjoyable and easy for you to do so.

I hope this trick works.  Let me know what you think in the comment section below. And don’t forget to subscribe!
